Pelíkano

[ENG] The custom typography for Pelíkano is a typeface in three stages. The starting point is a Sans with low contrast, meaning with little variation in stroke thickness, showcasing a contemporary and industrial cut. It transitions to an intermediate state called Midi, where it gains contrast and begins to feature details such as incised serifs and drop terminals. Finally, the typeface evolves into a Serif style, speaking from a place of luxury, with much lighter weight and a high contrast in stroke thicknesses, derived from human calligraphy.

[ESP] La tipografía custom para Pelíkano es una fuente en tres estados, el punto de partida es una Sans con un bajo contraste, es decir, con poco cambio de grosor en los trazos que conforman una letra, resaltando un corte contemporáneo e industrial, pasa por un estado intermedio llamado Midi, en donde gana contraste y comienzan a surgir detalles en las letras tipo una serifa incisa y terminaciones en gota. Finalmente la fuente cambia de estado a un estilo Serif, una fuente que habla desde el lujo, con mucho menos peso y un cambio de grosores entre los trazos muy alto, proveniente de la caligrafía humana.
