Gazel Sans

Gazel Sans is a custom-made typeface for the Gazel brand, a company that speaks from sustainability, a brand that promotes efficient mobility in a safe and responsible way. It was designed to meet digital requirements, it utilities a metric and style which features in its strokes appropriate to use on the Web and App. These two are the most important brand communication channels. It was decided to include more square shaping as opposed to round curves. Here, the intention was to enlarge the contours even more without increasing the width of the letter. This improves readability at small sizes without the text line consuming too much horizontal space.

Gazel Sans es una tipografía hecha a medida para la marca Gazel, una compañía que habla desde la sostenibilidad, fomentando una movilidad eficiente de manera segura y responsable. Esta tipografía fue diseñada para cumplir requerimientos digitales, tiene una métrica y rasgos en sus trazos apropiados para el uso en Web y App, los dos segmentos de comunicación más importantes de la marca Gazel. Se decidió segmentar curvas más cuadradas y no redondas, con la intención de ampliar aun más los contornos sin aumentar el ancho de la letra. Con esto se mejora la lectura en tamaños pequeños sin que la linea de texto consuma mucho espacio horizontal.
